May 6th 2011 a 911 call led to the discovery of a small music venue in south jersey conducting charity and/or fundraising events in a potentially unsafe environment. The Blackwood fire chief counted over 30 violations, and declared the scene a public hazard. on May 7th 2011 the Fire Marshall served Mike Britt with a NOTICE OF IMMINENT HAZARD and an ORDER TO VACATE. If this notice is ignored, fines will be imposed of up to $5000 a day PER VIOLATION. on May 9th 2011 the Fire Marshall performed a mandatory inspection of the SAVAGE ROCK SCHOOL and provided a list of violations. on June 6th 2011, either Mike Britt submits a PLAN for rehabilitating the property or submits a notarized letter stating he is definitely leaving, for good. Hopefully, YOU or someone you know is interested in opening a small concert venue at the property and this video provides some information about what you're getting into.
